On August 16, 2016, Elroy McGuin, aged 47, was fatally stabbed at his residence in the Greens Parkway area of Houston, Texas. The incident occurred during an altercation between McGuin and a juvenile female family member. The altercation escalated, leading to McGuin being stabbed. He was transported to an area hospital by paramedics, where he was pronounced dead.
