Jessica Martinez, a four-year-old girl from Kern County, California, was abducted on May 10, 1990, while playing near her family's apartment complex in Bakersfield. Despite extensive search efforts by her family and local law enforcement, her body was tragically found eleven days later on May 21, 1990, in an agricultural field, partially buried.
