In the spring of 2017, the life of 47-year-old Roger Mayes was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. On the night of Thursday, May 18th, Mayes was discovered in an open field on Dison Avenue, near E. Person Avenue in South Memphis. He had been fatally shot.
