A late-night argument on a North Philadelphia porch tragically escalated, leaving a father dead and his son facing murder charges. In the late hours of Saturday, April 4, 2026, police responded to a 9-1-1 call about a person with a weapon on the 600 block of West Wingohocking Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 61-year-old Kevin Jenkins lying on the front porch of a residence with multiple stab wounds to his neck.
