Hunt Escalante, a 22-year-old resident of the Point Breeze neighborhood of Pittsburgh, was tragically shot and killed on September 2, 2009. He sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, located in the 300 block of Omega Place in East Liberty. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and no suspects have been arrested in connection with Hunt's death.
