Lillainya Rachko, a 29-year-old resident of Pittsburgh, was tragically killed on January 1, 2010, in a murder-suicide incident. Just about 30 minutes into the new year, Rachko was attacked by her boyfriend, 38-year-old William Murray, at a residence on Orangewood Street in Beechview. Murray used an aluminum baseball bat to beat Rachko to death in the basement of the home. The brutal attack occurred while the couple was reportedly drinking together in the basement family room.
