On December 21, 2015, 20-year-old Akeilah Solomon was tragically killed during a violent encounter at her boyfriend's apartment in Pittsburgh's Bloomfield neighborhood. The incident occurred after Kadeem Williams, 25, allegedly entered the apartment through a bathroom window in an attempted robbery, leading to a deadly exchange of gunfire.
