Teaira Whitehead, a 16-year-old female, was shot and killed on October 6, 2014, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The incident took place in the Knoxville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, specifically on Zara Street. According to reports, Teaira was sitting on a porch when an unknown assailant opened fire, fatally injuring her. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving.
