On a June afternoon in 2010, Lamar Williams, a 24-year-old Black man, was the victim of a targeted shooting in Pittsburgh's Overbrook neighborhood. The incident unfolded as Williams was parking his white Cadillac STS in the lot of a lounge near Saw Mill Run Boulevard and Maytide Street. He was on his way to work as an auto detailer at the time.
