In the early hours of a Sunday morning in May 2012, a dispute outside a North Philadelphia bar escalated to gunfire, ending the life of 23-year-old Pete Hopkins. The shooting occurred on North 4th Street, just a short distance from Hopkins' home on Marshall Street. He had been at Rumba's Bar & Grill to watch a boxing match when an argument broke out.
