In the spring of 2012, the life of 27-year-old Candace Holmes was tragically cut short in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A Black female, her body was discovered wrapped in a sheet in a field in the Germantown neighborhood on Memorial Day. The cause of her death was determined to be strangulation.
