Candace Holmes, 27, was found dead on May 30, 2012, near Wister Station in the East Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Her body was discovered wrapped in a bed sheet in a vacant field on the 5100 block of Rufe Street. Candace had been strangled, and her body was found without shoes, although she had recently been given a new pair during a visit with her family just days before her death.
