Stephanie Byrd, a 44-year-old nurse from Pittsburgh, was tragically killed on May 10, 2013, in a murder-suicide perpetrated by her estranged husband, Bruce Byrd. The incident occurred in the Lawrenceville neighborhood when Stephanie went to pick up some belongings at her mother-in-law’s home, which was next door to where Bruce Byrd lived.
