On August 6, 2017, Nicole Dailey, a 26-year-old mother, was fatally shot while holding her 7-month-old daughter in Pittsburgh's Perry South neighborhood. The tragic incident occurred late at night near the intersection of North Charles and Strauss Streets. Nicole was standing near her car when multiple shots were fired.
