Tyrek B. Autrey, 21, a Black male from Philadelphia, was killed on the night of July 1, 2013, after a violent encounter in the Germantown section of the city. Police were called to the 4600 block of Morris Street around 10:05 p.m. for a reported shooting and found Autrey injured in the roadway. He lived on the 1000 block of West York Street, but that night he was discovered blocks away, gravely wounded and in need of emergency care.
