In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 21, 2019, a man identified as 34-year-old Pablo Lagares, also known as Pablo Jiminez, was found on the steps of a residence on the 2900 block of North Howard Street in Philadelphia. Responding to a call at 12:04 a.m., Philadelphia Police discovered that Lagares was suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The officers quickly transported him to Temple University Hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Pablo Lagares did not survive his injuries. He resided on the 2800 block of North 8th Street in Philadelphia. Described by loved ones as a kind and loving young man, he was known for giving good advice and wanting the best for his family and friends. He was a father who adored his son and had a desire to see an end to violence.
The Philadelphia Police Department is actively investigating the murder of Pablo Lagares. As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in connection with his shooting death. The case remains open, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation. His family continues to seek justice for his untimely and unexpected death.
