On October 20, 2013, Jasmine Morris, a 21-year-old woman, was fatally shot at the Diverse Banquet Club on Kelly Street in Pittsburgh. The incident also claimed the life of Demetrius Broadnax, 27, and left five others wounded. Jasmine was attending an after-hours event when the shooting occurred, and no suspects have been identified in the years since.
