In the quiet of a Southwest Philadelphia evening on January 15, 2014, the life of 32-year-old Branden Agnew was brought to a violent and sudden end. An African American male, Agnew was seated on his porch when the tranquility was shattered by the approach of multiple individuals. In a swift and brutal act, they opened fire, striking Agnew multiple times in the head. The assailants then fled the scene, leaving behind a neighborhood stunned by the brazen violence.
