In the early morning hours of Thursday, May 29, 2014, a discovery was made at the intersection of 10th Street and Girard Avenue in Philadelphia. Inside a Plymouth Vista, police found 32-year-old Rahim Carter, a Black male from Upper Darby, PA. He had been shot.

Responding officers arrived at the scene at 4:46 a.m. Carter was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead by the hospital staff. The investigation into his death would re ...
