James Howard, aged 45, was killed in Philadelphia on September 12, 2014. He was discovered by police officers at around 9:25 p.m. on the 2100 block of West Toronto Street. Howard was found lying in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite immediate efforts to save him, Howard succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to Temple University Hospital.
