Gregory Parker, a 26-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was fatally shot on January 5, 2015. The incident took place on the 6500 block of North 20th Street at around 11:38 p.m. When Philadelphia Police Officers arrived at the scene, they found Gregory lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his hip. He was immediately placed in a patrol vehicle and rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Despite the rapid response and medical intervention, Gregory succumbed to his injuries the following morning, on January 6, 2015.
Gregory Parker lived on the 2000 block of Ridley Street in Philadelphia. His murder remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made in connection with the case. Authorities continue to appeal to the public for any information that could help in solving this homicide. The Philadelphia Police Department urges anyone with details about the incident to contact their Homicide Unit or submit a tip anonymously. The hope remains that additional information from the community might eventually lead to justice for Gregory Parker and his grieving family.
