Stefon Reed, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot on January 29, 2015, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His death occurred amidst a surge in violence that made 2015 one of the deadliest years in Allegheny County since 2008. Reed was found shot multiple times, and his case remains open, with no suspects arrested thus far. Like many similar incidents in Pittsburgh, the investigation has been complicated by a lack of witnesses willing to come forward, which has hindered progress in solving the case.
