In the winter of 2014, the life of a young Black man from the North Side of Pittsburgh was tragically cut short. On December 9th, 22-year-old Dewayne Henley was at a home in the 900 block of Woodlow Street in the city's Crafton Heights neighborhood when he was fatally shot in the chest. Despite his injuries, he managed to flee the residence, running for a block before collapsing.
