In the late afternoon of a November day in 2008, a 14-year-old boy returned to his family's home on the North Side of Pittsburgh to a scene that would forever alter his life. He discovered his older brother, 19-year-old Raemon Gray, in a second-floor bedroom, having been fatally shot in the head.
