Raemon Gray

In the late afternoon of a November day in 2008, a 14-year-old boy returned to his family's home on the North Side of Pittsburgh to a scene that would forever alter his life. He discovered his older brother, 19-year-old Raemon Gray, in a second-floor bedroom, having been fatally shot in the head. The younger brother immediately alerted neighbors, who then contacted the authorities. Medics arrived at the Kennedy Avenue residence and pronounced Raemon Gray dead at the scene.
