Tyshaun Jones

In the early morning hours of a summer day in Philadelphia, the life of Tyshaun Jones, a 29-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On Thursday, July 23, 2015, at approximately 1:14 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers were called to the 6700 block of Marsden Street. There, they discovered Jones lying in the street, having been shot multiple times. Paramedics arrived at the scene, but his injuries were too severe, and he did not survive.
