Stephen Blount, a 50-year-old Philadelphia resident, was fatally shot on September 25, 2015. The shooting took place in North Philadelphia, where officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they found Blount with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where medical personnel attempted to save his life, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
