On October 20, 2015, Damon McNeal, a 28-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was tragically murdered in the early hours of the morning. Around 2:37 a.m., Philadelphia Police Officers were dispatched to the 6700 block of North 11th Street, where they found Damon lying in the street, having been struck by multiple bullets. Damon was quickly transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead later that morning.
