Nadje Steedley, an 18-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot on the night of March 12, 2016. At approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of North Salford Street, where they found Nadje lying in the street with a gunshot wound to her chest. She was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment but succumbed to her injuries the following morning.
