Frankie Mitchell, a 20-year-old man, was tragically stabbed and killed on July 18, 2016, in Philadelphia. The incident took place on the 3200 block of Shelbourne Street. Philadelphia Police responded to the scene on East Allegheny Avenue around 2:00 p.m. and found Frankie lying on the sidewalk, suffering from a stab wound to his chest. He was immediately transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
