On July 19, 2016, Clarence Young, a 22-year-old Philadelphia resident, was critically injured in a shooting incident. Philadelphia police responded to the 1500 block of West Olney Avenue around 9:00 p.m., where they found Young suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. He was immediately transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition but tragically succumbed to his injuries the following day on July 20, 2016.
