James Hudson, a 49-year-old Black male, was murdered in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on December 18, 2016. His death was among the 105 homicides recorded in Allegheny County that year, 56 of which occurred within the city of Pittsburgh. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner officially listed his cause of death as homicide.
