Savon Lamont Martin, aged 23, was shot and killed on February 8, 2017, in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. when police were alerted by a ShotSpotter device, which directed them to a home on Rosedale Street. Upon arriving, officers found Martin lying on the porch, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses reported hearing approximately a dozen shots fired.
