David Kalamafoni, a 17-year-old resident of Portland, Oregon, was tragically shot and killed on the night of October 28, 1988. At the time, he was attending a party in the vicinity of Northeast Holman and 17th Avenue. Witnesses reported that as he left the gathering, Kalamafoni stopped to talk with a friend near a car when gunfire erupted in the area.
