On the morning of April 6, 1992, the body of Linda June Woods, a 33-year-old woman, was discovered between train tracks near the intersection of N. Kerby Avenue and N. Watts Street in Portland. She had been strangled. Woods, who was married with two young children, was known for her trusting nature and had been associating with homeless individuals in the area where her body was found.
