On July 18, 1985, the body of 27-year-old Diane Denise Jordan was discovered in a dumpster in Portland, Oregon. A workman found her partially clothed and immediately notified the authorities. An autopsy revealed that Jordan had been strangled to death, and it was clear that she had been involved in a violent struggle. She was last seen alive after midnight, fully clothed in the area of NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Roselawn Street.
