In the early morning hours of January 27, 1994, the sound of gunshots broke the quiet of a North Portland neighborhood. A resident in the 600 block of N Humboldt Street discovered the body of 22-year-old Caucasian male Sven Jansson on the sidewalk at approximately 2:30 a.m. Jansson had been fatally shot.
