In the early afternoon of June 14, 1995, the life of Eric Jordan, a 32-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. A neighbor placed a distressing 911 call at approximately 12:10 p.m., reporting that Jordan was on the porch of his residence on the 3300 block of SE 143rd Avenue in Portland, Oregon, clearly in agony. When police arrived, they discovered that Jordan had been shot. Despite the swift response, he succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
