In the early morning hours of May 15, 2005, a 41-year-old Asian male named Thompson Tony Ly was shot and killed in Portland, Oregon. The incident occurred at approximately 1:19 a.m. near the intersection of Southwest Yamhill Street between Southwest 2nd and Southwest 3rd Avenue. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Ly had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
