African-American/Black male Adrian Ramon Bible, age 29, died on August 8, 2005, in downtown Portland, Oregon. Just after 1:19 a.m., police were called to the 200 block of Southwest Washington Street on reports of gunfire. Officers arrived to find Adrian Ramon Bible, age 29, fatally wounded by a gunshot, the street still echoing with the confusion of a shooting that witnesses said rippled for blocks.
