On June 27, 1997, 24-year-old Christopher Odell Roberson was shot and killed while working in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roberson had been hanging posters to advertise an upcoming concert for a local rap group when two individuals approached him near 4500 North Garrison Avenue. Without warning, he was shot, and he died from his injuries.
