In the summer of 1997, the life of a young, aspiring rapper was tragically cut short on the streets of Tulsa, Oklahoma. On the evening of June 26th, twenty-four-year-old Christopher Odell Roberson was out in the 4500 block of North Garrison, diligently hanging posters to promote an upcoming concert for the rap group 918. It was a task filled with the hope and promise of a burgeoning music career, but one that would ultimately lead to his untimely demise.
