On August 14, 1999, at approximately 10:55 in the morning, the remains of Gary Lee Wixon were found lying on a gravel road. The male victim was located in Northeast Tulsa near some train tracks, and at the time of the discovery, he had no identification with him.
An investigation into his death determined that the cause was strangulation.
