On January 17, 2004, 21-year-old Anthony Lydell Jackson was shot to death inside the Hood Food Store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jackson was standing at the store's counter, reportedly purchasing cigarettes, when an unknown assailant entered and fired several shots at him, striking him multiple times. He was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
