On April 18, 2007, 37-year-old Fredricka Marshall was found shot inside her home in Oklahoma City. Police responded to the scene around 2 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Page Avenue and discovered her critically wounded. Marshall was rushed to the hospital, where she received treatment for her injuries. Despite medical efforts, she lived for nearly five more years before succumbing to her injuries in March 2012.
