On October 31, 2007, 50-year-old Karen Ann Moncrief was found brutally beaten at her residence in the Clarland Arms Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was discovered by neighbors who alerted authorities, and despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries the following day. The investigation revealed that Moncrief had sustained severe trauma to her upper body.
