In the early morning hours of April 19, 2008, a sense of unease settled over a neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A resident on North Boston Place was startled by a knock at her door. Standing there was a man who delivered the chilling news that someone had been shot in front of her house before he disappeared into the darkness. When police arrived, they discovered the body of 24-year-old Charles Fanning.
