On April 22, 2008, Frederick Wilson, 25, was shot and killed during a violent home invasion in western Tulsa County. That night, two masked intruders broke into the house Wilson shared with his girlfriend, demanding money. Both Wilson and his girlfriend were tied up, and despite Wilson pleading for his life, he was fatally shot. His girlfriend managed to escape and call for help, but the attackers fled the scene.
