On October 14, 2010, Damesha Hunter, a 32-year-old mother of four, was found shot to death in her home at 7108 E. Newton Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There was no sign of forced entry, and Hunter was speaking on the phone with her husband, Laroye Hunter III, at the time of the incident. During their call, she reportedly said someone was at the door, but she never returned to the phone. When Laroye came home, he discovered her body.
