On August 8, 2011, Lorena Zamarripa, age 34, was found dead in Oklahoma City, near the intersection of Northwest 43rd Street and Shartel Avenue. She had suffered extensive trauma, which investigators believe led to her death. The incident occurred after Lorena left her home on the evening of August 7 with her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Munoz, and she was not seen alive again.
