On July 23, 2015, James Holley Cooper, age 62, was tragically shot and killed after playing tennis at Lacy Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cooper, a beloved member of the community, had just finished a match and was placing his tennis equipment in his car when an unknown assailant approached and shot him multiple times.
