In the early morning hours of May 20, 2016, the life of 30-year-old Mike Chau, an Asian American male, was tragically cut short in the courtyard of the Southern Oaks Apartments in southwest Oklahoma City. At approximately 5:30 a.m., the morning's quiet was shattered by a heated argument, followed by the sound of multiple gunshots.
