On August 30, 2016, Erlin Pereira, 35, was found shot outside an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City. The incident occurred at the Meridian Apartments on Athens Avenue around 11 p.m. Two teenagers, ages 15 and 17, were later arrested in connection with the homicide.
